The World Cookbook

We love food.

You can probably tell from our waistlines that food is something we take very seriously, and we’re not adverse to trying new things wherever we go!

Henry coined our European escapade an ‘eating and drinking tour of Europe’ which in hindsight is not far from the truth.

Our background is very food based, with Henry’s dad who was a chef who owned his own country pub and Jen’s mum trained as a chef in a Mexican restaurant and eventually became a head chef in Edinburgh.

Now having managed two restaurants Jen keeps her hand in by learning new recipes with local produce and Henry also likes to concoct weird and wonderful dishes, which almost always work!

We want to share recipes, local delicacies and plenty of photos of food stuff we have found and continue to find and what we love or dislike about them.

What we drink is also equally as important and with Jen’s cocktail and wine background we will also share recipes and guides to some of the tastiest beverages we find or come up with!
